26TH ITMA WORLD CONGRESS REPORT
Latest ITMA News
No ITMA world congress in 2022!
Due to the difficult situation with COVID-19 in many countries and still great difficulties to travel internationally, we have decided to postpone the 27th ITMA World Conference that was planned in the autumn of 2021 to a later date. Our Chinese hosts Prof. Ji-Hong Zhou and Prof. Zheng-Guo Wang have coordinated with different city units, such as Shanghai (Tongji University), Chengdu (University of Electronic Science and Technology of China/Sichuan Provincial People’s Hospital) and others and they all agree to host the conference at any time when conditions permit. So, when the situation is clearer, we have multiple alternatives to ensure the rapid start and implementation of the congress in a later date. The covid situation in China is changing rapidly and we can still not in the end of 2022 fix a date for our congress.
All papers that have been accepted for the proceedings for 27th ITMA will stay accepted for presentations at ITMA World Conference in 2022. New papers can also be submitted when the date for the congress is set.
