The 21st International Congress will be held in the Hague, the Netherlands from Sunday 26 April until Wednedsday 29 April 2009.
Decisions of the ITMA board meeting March 2007
The meeting was held in three rounds starting February 27. It was originally meant to end after two roundson Tuesday 6 March but the meeting was extended until March 15 to be able to involve all board members. The following board-members actively participated in the meeting: Abdel Hay Mashhour; Catarina Lundberg, Donald Redelmeier, Kurt Johansson, Lars Englund, Leonard Evans, Morris Odell, Nemes György, Sang Wan Lee, Ulf Bjornstig, Wiebo Brouwer and Zheng-guo Wang.

Decisions:
- The 21st International Congress will be held in the Hague, the Netherlands from Sunday evening 26 April until Wednesday 29 April 2009. The congress is organized by an organizing and scientific committee chaired by Wiebo Brouwer.
- The 22th International congress will be held in China (Chongqing) in 2011 and is organized by an organizing and scientific committee chaired by Zheng-guo Wang.
- All board members should attend the international congresses. For each congress, the ITMA Executive Committee and the local congress organisation must make appointments about financial support for board members with regard to travel and registration costs.
- In addition to the regular board meetings at the international congresses, board meetings by email will be held twice a year according to the following procedure: Meetings are announced by email at least 10 days before they start and consist of two rounds over a period of approximately one week. The president opens the meeting and presents his proposals and questions. In response to this the board members vote and give their arguments, amendments and questions. Based on these reactions, decisions are recorded and proposals and questions for the second round are formulated. After receiving the responses, the president summarizes the decisions and publishes them on the web-site. Unresolved issues are further prepared for the next meeting.
